Our “HyperPodX” student team and the "Engineering Physics" programme, are cooperative projects between the Carl-von-Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer. The two universities are linked by joint lectures as well as joint research projects; for example, in environmental technology, renewable energies, and laser technology.
The bilingual course "Engineering Physics", with the possibility to pursue practical applications or to focus on basic research, is unique in its form in Germany and attracts students from all over the world. Lecturers and university students work closely with OFFIS, Next-Energy-Center and other regional companies between Emden and Bremen. The HyperPodX team also receives much-appreciated support from the Founding and Innovation Center of the University of Oldenburg (GIZ).
